Outside for Summer Grilling!

Try out these grilling tips from Matador Meat & Wine in Plano to impress even the most seasoned grillmaster:

Brisket & Pork Belly Sausages
  1. Preheat grill to 400 degrees
  2. Poke 3-4 holes in the sausage with a toothpick
  3. Grill sausages for 8-10 minutes turning every couple of minutes
  4. Once the sausages begin to spurt juice, allow one more minute of cook time
 
Slow-Cooked Chicken Wings
  1. Preheat Big Green Egg or smoker to 250 degrees
  2. Liberally season the wings with the BBQ rub of your choice
  3. Cook the wings on the slow cooker for 75-90 minutes flipping the wings once during cooking

  4. Finish the wings for 5-7 minutes on a 400-degree grill
 
USDA Prime Kansas City Strip Steak
  1. Preheat grill to 400
  2. Liberally season the steaks with Kosher salt and black pepper
  3. Place the steaks on the hot grill and cook for 2 minutes
  4. Rotate the steaks 45 degrees and cook for another 2 minutes
  5. Flip the steaks and repeat steps 3&4
  6. Remove steaks from grill and allow the steaks to rest 5-10 minutes before serving
 
Steakburger
  1. Preheat grill to 400
  2. Place patties on the grill and cook for 4 minutes
  3. Flip the burgers and continue cooking for another 4-6 minutes
  4. As flare-ups occur, move burgers from over the flare ups
  5. Remove burgers and allow the burgers to rest 5-10 minutes before serving
