Step One In Our Home-Buying Process: Meet With A Real Estate Professional
The first step to our 8-step home-buying process involves meeting with a Realtor prior to looking at homes. This initial consultation is imperative in order to simplify the entire process of finding your next home including its type, style, price, and location.
We are currently in a very strong Seller’s market. That means there are more Buyers than there are Sellers. In other words, the demand for homes exceeds the supply. Most homes are selling within several days of being listed, and many homes are receiving multiple offers.
Therefore, this consultation is imperative for preparing to find the right house sooner than later as well as for putting a winning offer in front of a Seller. The consultation should not take much time. A needs analysis will be conducted, all of your hopes and desires for your home will be identified, and a housing search will be initiated with our database to determine what available inventory exists.
Your Realtor should not only identify pre-owned homes that meet your needs, but also new construction options. Some builders will have spec homes available for immediate possession, or you may choose to build your dream home from the ground up. Available options among new construction should be identified and discussed.
The Tomlin Team knows the market well. Our goal is to assist you in making wise decisions with your finances while helping you strategically identify what will meet your holistic needs before opening the first door to your potential next home!
